Welcome to the website for the Kern County Central Office of Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a voluntary, worldwide fellowship of approximately
2,000,000 men and women in 150 different countries who regularly meet in small
groups to attain and maintain sobriety.
Currently, women make up 35 percent of the total membership.
There are approximately 30 AA meetings a day, seven days a week, in Bakersfield
and the rest of Kern County. That is more than 200 AA meetings per week.
